I am pleased to announce that the period for identifying firms to participate in the Army Commercialization Pilot Program (CPP) has concluded. Of the 529 eligible firms, 416 submitted a Commercialization and Transition Assessment (CTA) form, resulting in 25 firms being identified for participation in the program. The Army CPP is a process to identify SBIR firms that have Phase II projects with high transition potential that meet high priority requirements for possible additional investment and is not considered a competitive source selection process. Participation in the Army CPP does not obligate the government to provide additional funds and any recommendations for additional investment is subject to funds availability. The above list of 25 firms represents those who will participate this cycle.

I thank all firms that submitted the CTA form in support of this process and encourage all firms to continue striving to transition and commercialize SBIR developed technology.

Sincerely,
John Pucci
Army SBIR Program Manager
